How To - Drop-In Registrations
Setup Your Account
- Create an Account: Visit our Lafayette Hockey Club website and create an account by clicking on "Sign Up".
- Add Participants: Go to Account > Participants to add yourself and any family members. (You can also do this during the registration process).
How To Register
- Find Your Session: If you have a direct link to the registration of your choice, click on it. Otherwise, navigate to the "Programs" tab, select your activity from the drop-down menu, and click "Register."
- Select Participant: Choose the participant you are registering or create a new participant during this step.
- Enter Information: Confirm your address and (optional) invite another guardian to the participant's account. Click "Continue".
- Select Sessions & Pricing: Choose your dates. Important: You must manually select the correct price type (Member or Non-Member) for each session to confirm. Click "Continue".
- Payment Type: Choose the Regular Rate (Single Session) or purchase a Punch Card. Click "Continue".
- Waivers: Answer required questions and agree to the waivers. Click "Continue".
- Payment Method: Enter a new payment method or select a saved one. Click "Continue".
- Note: Credit/Debit cards incur a 2% fee; ACH (bank transfer) has no fee.
- Confirm: Review your details and click "Confirm Payment"!
- Confirmation Email: You will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to view your registered sessions.
- Each participant must check-in at the front desk before each session. Front desk will have a printed roster for check-in purposes.
Arriving Without Registration
If you show up at the Y without a prior booking, you can still register as long as space is available.
- Self-Service Only: The front desk POS is not set up for ice programs. All registrations must be completed through the website on your own device (phone, tablet, or computer).
- How to Book on the Spot: Use your own device to access the website or scan the QR code at the front desk with your phone camera to start.
- New Users: You will be prompted to create an account first. If you aren’t redirected back to the session after account creation, scan the QR code a second time to start your registration.
- Check-In: Please write your full name and email address on the printed roster at the desk.
Running Late? Use "LATE SIGN-UP"
Registration for specific sessions locks exactly at the session start time. If you were unable to register before the session started, but space is still available:
- Look for the "LATE SIGN-UP" session available for that day.
- Select this option to complete your registration.
- All standard pricing and Punch Cards are still valid for Late Sign-Ups.
- Check-In: Please write your full name and email address on the printed roster at the desk.
Important Note on Mobile App
Registrations must be completed through the lafayettehockeyclub.com website. The Crossbar mobile app is designed for full-season teams to view schedules and communicate; it is not designed for the registration process or drop-in bookings.
