Figures Class

Figures help develop precise control of your edges.

This is done through various stages of circular patterns, which help the skater fine-tune forward and backward edges, along with a variety of turns and loops.

This class can cover three turns, brackets, counters, rockers, forward and backward loops, clean and precise centers, and how to lay out a figure on clean ice.



Promotion Period: February 1 – February 28, 2026

Throughout the month of February, Y-Members are eligible to purchase multi-use punch card at 50% off the standard Y-Member single-session rate.

• This special is exclusive to active YMCA Members.
• Punch cards can only be purchased while a participant is registering for a specific session; they are not available as standalone purchases.
• If a participant cancels their YMCA membership before the punch card is fully used, any remaining sessions on a punch card will incur:
• An additional charge to match the standard non-member punch card rate.
• A $1 Crossbar transaction fee and
• A 2% Crossbar payment processing fee (credit and debit cards only).

Session Rules & Requirements

• Eligibility: This class is for skaters who already have the basics of skating and are comfortable on the ice (Adult 5/6, Freeskate 2, Pre-Preliminary, and above).
• Ice Usage: Each skater is allocated a set piece of ice for the duration of the session.
• Equipment: Rental skates are not provided for this session; all participants must bring their own equipment.
• Security: The facility and management are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Please secure your belongings in the provided areas.
